The Finance Department is comprised of accounting, utility billing, customer service, and office services. The Department is responsible for maintaining the Village's financial assets and investments, as well as overseeing water billing, payroll, accounts payable, and fixed assets. The Department prepares the annual operating budget, the annual capital budget, and the comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR).
The Finance Director is also the Village Treasurer, and, as such, functions as Treasurer to both the Police and Firefighter Pension Boards. In this capacity, the Department is responsible for all financial transactions required of the pension funds.
